Multi-vehicle car accidents in New Jersey

Chain-reaction accidents involving a number of vehicles are a frequent occurrence on busy freeways, highways and city streets. Multiple drivers and insurance companies are involved, creating a complex task for those responsible for sorting out the details of the car accidents. Recently, seven vehicles were involved in a traffic collision in Gloucester Township, New Jersey in a five-way intersection.

After a preliminary investigation, it was clear that the accident began after a bus rear-ended a small Kia when traffic had come to a stop. The Kia hit a Mitsubishi, which consequently struck a Ford Ranger. This collision forced the Mitsubishi into oncoming traffic, hitting a Toyota Camry and a Ford Taurus. The Ford Ranger had several ladders in the truck bed until it was struck, sending them into traffic and hitting a Chevrolet pickup.

The driver of the Kia endured the most injury, likely due to the small size and extensive damage done to her vehicle. She was reportedly in critical condition in the immediate aftermath of the crash. A few of the other vehicles' passengers were hospitalized for more minor injuries.

Rear-end accidents are one of the most common ways for a multi-vehicle collision to begin. When you or someone you love has been injured due to another driver's negligence leading to a car pileup, compensation can be secured for pain and suffering. Although investigations and legal issues can be complex when several vehicles are involved in one major crash, determining who is at fault is possible. Successful results can be achieved and rights can be restored for New Jersey residents facing the aftermath of multi-vehicle car accidents.
