Deadly crash in New Jersey leaves wrongful death of a dad

Tragedy can strike at any moment. The untimely death of a loved one can come as a shock and can overwhelm anyone, especially children. In recent weeks in New Jersey, one family has had to suffer through an apparent wrongful death and not knowing why their loved one was taken from them so suddenly.

New Jersey police are still searching for the driver in a hit-and-run accident that left a man lifeless in the street. The man was riding his motorcycle and was apparently cut off by the driver of another vehicle. Reports are unclear as to how the accident actually occurred, but from what information they have gathered, officials reported that there were sparks seen as the other vehicle collided with the motorcycle.

The man driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead upon arrival of authorities, but this may not have been the case if the driver of the other vehicle had called for help after the accident. It was reported that the driver of the other vehicle knew that they were involved in an accident because they parked across the street. The driver was then seen checking on the victim before getting back in the vehicle and driving away.

The saddest part of this story is that the man that was killed was the father of a 7-year-old. This child and the man's family are now left with unanswered questions as to why this father will not be coming home. Pending a full investigation, the other driver involved may be facing not only jail time, but also a New Jersey wrongful death case if the family so chooses to file one. While this will not bring back the father who lost his life, it could help provide financially for the son and any other dependent family members he may have left behind.
