Steven J. Loewenthal is an ivy-league trained (Columbia University J.D.) and New Jersey Supreme Court-Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction held by less than 2% of lawyers in the State.  He joined the litigation section of the firm in January 2007, after practicing in New York for ten years.

Mr. Loewenthal was a partner at Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy & Bach in New York City focusing on medical malpractice and products liability litigation. During his five years at Heidell Pittoni, he gained extensive litigation experience defending physicians, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Loewenthal has concentrated his practice on representing people who have been injured in accidents caused by automobile negligence, hazardous conditions on premises, workplace hazards, defective consumer products, industrial equipment, and professional malpractice.

Mr. Loewenthal graduated from Binghamton University in 1992 with Phi Beta Kappa honors and received his law degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1996. He is admitted to the New York Bar, New Jersey Bar, United States District Court of New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Mr. Loewenthal currently sits on the Board for the New Jersey Association for Justice and as a Trustee for the Morris County Bar Association.  He also a member of New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice, and serves as a court mediator in Morris County.
