New Jersey drug manufacturer recalls dangerous products

Pharmacy Creations is a compound pharmacy located here in New Jersey. Recently, the Federal Drug Administration published information regarding Pharmacy Creations' voluntary recall of four potentially dangerous products. So far, the company has not received any reports of illness or death related to this recall.

Information regarding the particular lots of four products that are subject to the recall can be found either on the FDA's website or by contacting Pharmacy Creations. it was discovered by a third-party testing facility that the products may be contaminated. The health implications to patients are considered to be serious. It is possible to contract an infection that could be life-threatening.

For this reason, use of the affected products should cease immediately. The products were distributed from March 4 to June 18 in four locations, including New Jersey, New York, Florida and Puerto Rico by mail. The company claims that all affected physicians and patients were notified, and the process to replace the products is underway.

However, that does not mean that anyone who was using the products will not become ill. Any New Jersey residents who believe they have contracted an infection after using one or more of these dangerous products should seek treatment as soon as possible. The FDA has requested that any infection or other illness linked to these products be reported to them as well. It may be possible to recover expenses and other damages incurred as a result of using the potentially contaminated products through the filing of a products liability claim.
